Encounters with Eighteenth-Century Music – 10 Sep: The Challenges of Critical Editions

The 2025–2026 season of Encounters with Eighteenth-Century Music will open with a panel discussion addressing the variety of challenges that arise when editing critical editions, to be held on September 10, 2025, from 4:30 pm to 6pm EST on Zoom. Jason B. Grant (moderator) will be joined by panelists Bruce Alan Brown, Paul Corneilson, Drew Edward Davies, and Nancy November. This is a free event, but registration is required. The Mozart Society of America co-sponsors this virtual forum together with the American Bach Society, the American Handel Society, the Haydn Society of North America, and the Society for Eighteenth-Century Music.
