MSA Study Session and Annual Business Meeting – Friday, 11 November 2022

We held our first in-person session at the annual meeting of the American Musicological Society (AMS) since 2019:

The Business Meeting included reports on our activities over the past year and on our future plans, as well as the announcement of the winner of this year’s Marjorie Weston Emerson Award.

Following the session, we held the

which was open to MSA members and to members of the American Bach Society, American Handel Society, Haydn Society of North America, and the Society for Eighteenth-Century Music, as well as other attendees of the meeting. There was a cash bar and complimentary light refreshments, as well as plenty of opportunity to socialize with friends old and new.
